Did 1.1 change power draws?

I am the proponent of more dakka = more fun. I am actually dissapointed there is no C3 & C4 MC, I have to put Pulse Laser in those slots...

Generally I agree and definitely want more MC varieties and levels. Overall, I see the weapons in Elite as a truly awesome early attempt that still needs a lot of work, and I'm giving them some benefit of the doubt it will come. The lack of viable fun options that actually work make issues like the SCB triple nerf really frustrating. No matter how much cred, rep, rank, etc., you can never have, for example, a maxed out viper? Okay, then give us another fighter to upgrade to???

Maybe it's just hard to enjoy a corvette you've been driving all year, when they take out 3 cylinders and tell you can't use the radio while the air conditioning is on... you get the idea. :)

Appreciate those who spelled out load outs and sent rep out accordingly.
 
Viper was always quite limited by its power plant. So, yes there should be a trade off between having SCBs or a load out that would allow you having more fun. 1.1 and SCB rebalancing made the game more fun and interesting for me and this was especially caused by SCB rebalancing.
Could be fun if group playing would be a fully functional feature which allow small vessels to be used in numbers.
This is not the case ...

FSD and cargo hatch lowest priority. Secondary chaff launcher and two shield cell banks are off untill primary modules are out of ammo, then switched on.

Eagle is much worse now. I could barfely fit it with single, worst shield cell bank, sporting single beam laser, while keeping it A grade all around.
I didn't bother and gone dual beams without any shield cells. Guess the idea is to not get hit in it...

I'm glad they rebalanced it -this makes it a lot more fun.

Just to try things out, I bought a
Viper for the first time ever, loaded it up and went hunting for 2 days... it seemed to work fine, but I still enjoy my sturdy Cobra better.

On that note, the maxed-out Cobra I have still works as-is, power-wise.. but the battles with larger ships take more skill, which I love.

Cool, thanks and rep sent. Some good info. 2 Chaffs? Wow I've never gone through ammo in a single run.
Only prob is no kill warrant scanner or interdictor which seems like another tradeoff we really shouldn't have to make for a fighter, but a good config for straight up combat.

Fighting Anacondas in warzone can chew chaffs pretty quickly. IIf you want KWS(1% power) just swap A3(11%) shield cell bank with B3(10%) one and you're good.
Put interdictor, fuel scoop, cargo space or discovery scanner in any slot. They need to be powered only in super cruise, so it's ok to jugle them at will, without worry about power.
