Did 2.2 actually go through a beta?

Deveri does lie a lot. He comes out with stuff which is factually incorrect. That constitutes a lie. Not just in this thread but others as well.

Strange, I can't find any links to examples of where I'm "lying". Maybe that's because you don't have any examples and are simply resorting to vague personal attacks due to being incapable of engaging in an intelligent on-topic discussion?

The list of game-breaking bugs that we've seen with 2.1 and 2.2 are all accurate. Trying to claim they "aren't game-breaking" is utter nonsense, you have been given several examples and try to claim they just made the game "difficult" which is not true at all. They make the game unplayable for many players and required a series of insurance reimbursements from FD or even specific support assistance to recover lost saves. That is the definition of game-breaking, they prevented player progression due to impossibly difficult NPCs or game file corruption.

I first reported the annoying bug with sightseeing missions, where the target body doesn't update on the second or third leg, on the first day of beta (20th September): https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php/291156-Tourist-Mission-cannot-end?p=4622067

Many threads were raised on this and updated as new betas were released. A major feature of the 2.2 update was fundamentally broken, and yet Frontier did nothing to fix it for release. And surprise, surprise, several bug reports have been raised since 2.2 was released, causing much annoyance with players who have abandoned multi-million CR missions and lost rep.

Most people seemed to progress fine including me when 2.1 dropped. And now that we know what the issues are regarding module storage it is very easy to work around. Most people haven encountered any issue. See not game breaking if you use your head.

I have better things to do with my life then to trawl through your posts and threads. I have a life.

You're right- that was uncalled for and unjustified. My apologies.

No worries. Things do get a bit heated from time to time. I think most of us want the same thing which is a better game. I do always try ot see the pint half full instead of half empty and try to concentrate on the good stuff and ignoring the bad.

There was a mega beta blow out a few days before the update was released. with a lot of belugas in one system fighting it out with T9s
I got it to dock Eventually. The 1st time I was right over the docking maker it was beeping lit up like it should be. but I thought
this must be a bug or I'm doing something wrong.
I was running out of time so flew the damn thing out of the station and cancelled docking. Then Requested docking and got it to dock.
I could not get this not been able to dock to happen again or I would of reported it.

Were you or have you considered buying a docking computer for it?

I did find a bug for the anaconda docking on a moon in the beta. using autodock the ship stopped moving to dock at a certain altitude
I made a video of the problem and reported it.

Don't take stuff to heart on the forums. Get a video made of it and get the bug reported to frontier. Then you maybe could get
some in-game credits reinbursed.

Exactly. We all know that VR code will affect Beluga landings, or mission payout mega-nerfing. That's due to new technology and VR....

That's why they keep ramming us! They're playing VR games while driving!

With all due respect, you are likely to be as much of an Elite addict as the rest of us on these boards. :)

Right, so all the forum threads complaining about all the game-breaking problems after 2.1 launched didn't exist? I guess that's why FD made all of those changes with the Engineers patches up to and including 2.1.05 where NPCs were lobotomized again and the Engineer blueprints and mat/data drops were made dramatically easier than they were when 2.1 first launched. Because there were no problems at all with 2.1 and no one complained on the forums?

It's like you aren't even reading what I'm typing at all, you're just denying that any problems exist with the game. Trying to claim "there were no game-breaking bugs" when I gave several examples or "I did just fine with 2.1" when there were massive numbers of complaints all over the forums about Engineers is just so ridiculous it's not worth responding to at this point.

In other words, you prefer to make vague, unsubstantiated personal attacks instead of actually responding intelligently to forum posts?

Sorry, but I don't call that "having a life". I just call that lazy attempts at trolling.
