I'd posted before adding the 2nd bit - sorrySorry, but that is why I am asking. It was stated there that this would be implemented in Update 8. I am asking if this was done. If someone could tell me that would be great. Thanks.
I'd have just loaded the game and tried...I'm sure one of the many supporters of this issue will be along to answer you any moment![]()
They probably haven't bought it yet - waiting for those sweet 32 inputs...I'd have just loaded the game and tried...
Haha! I uninstalled it a long time ago waiting for this archaic 32 button limit issue to be resolved. That is why I am asking.I'd have just loaded the game and tried...
So it was purely academic then, that's ok.Haha! I uninstalled it a long time ago waiting for this archaic 32 button limit issue to be resolved. That is why I am asking.
As a complete immersion nerd who has a battlechair groaning under the weight of Hotas, mounted keyboards, Tablets and button boxes. It would be nice to see this limit removed, but I'm still playing and having more fun than ever.Hopefully fdev are taking note that the only person who seems to care about this at all is an ex-player. Time to close the issue and move on!
Great, so could you please test to see if the limit has been removed in Update 8? If you had read the links Rat Catcher provided 8 posts up you would see that it was listed as "Under Investigation" with a "planned" release in U8 but as there is no mention of it in the U8 release notes (also linked above) we can assume that it didn't make it into U8Great, so could you please test to see if the limit has been removed in Update 8? Thanks.
Being relatively high on the list of desired changes, it would definitely have been mentioned if included in U8Thanks but, Rat Catcher edited his post, and as he said, the mentions are ambiguous, hence my original question. I had already read those links before posting.
Quite often, fixes are done in updates that are not mentioned in release notes. DCS is a prime example of this.
There is nothing speculative/theoretical about the OP's request. It's as practical as can be.So it was purely academic then, that's ok.
FYI it still doesn't seem to work for me.Thanks but, Rat Catcher edited his post, and as he said, the mentions are ambiguous, hence my original question. I had already read those links before posting.
