Did A Hot Fix Just Happen?

Greetings -

Quick question:

Did Frontier apply a hot fix recently to allow the Camera Suite to move to up to 3,000 meters away from the SRV? I know this was allowed in Super Cruise when deployed from ships, but SRV has (until recently) always been locked to 250m for me.

Anyone have any info?

Last night as I was approaching a station, the voice changed from a woman's, to a man's, to static, and back to a woman's voice. Never heard that before. And I was getting some weird graphic anomalies while approaching planets too. Weird, but I've come to expect weird from this game. ;)

That must be a LGBTR controller ( R = robotic .... it is 34th Century ;) )

I'm still occasionally getting that weird noise, like the sound you get when you approach a surface scan location and it moves, while sitting in the hanger on a planetary base, if that helps. :)

It's an old bug, if you are in SRV and open free camera mode instantly after starting camera suite, it glitches and you can go up to 3000m instead of 250 and clip through things.

I've been trying to recreate this since I made this thread.

No luck. I tried instantly going into Free Cam after going into the camera suite, I tried different angles of deployment and all sorts of crazy shenanigans.

Has anyone had any results?

Strange, I'll try to recheck once I'm home, but I was able to do it pretty consistently to scout high-sec bases before going in.

Something has changed I was fooling around with my cam and ended up observing my SRV from what felt like a satelite view. It was an awesome sight.
