Did anyone delete their save to start over fresh in Odyssey? If so, explain your reasoning!

Nah... My Cmdr has been a multi-year endeavor of blood, sweat, and tears. Hats off to whoever does, though.
Well assuming that all goes well for consols next year (yes I reckon it will be next year) then I will be starting from scratch again.
I haven't progressed in the game as much as others on here, but I don't mind the grind to get back what I do have now.
I like to work hard to get the things i want from ED. No 'get rich quick' crap for me thanks.
Oh and I only have one account too.

I kind of did.
I had an alt sitting in Ghandarvi waiting for launch but decided I wanted to change their name on a whim the day before launch. I didn’t lose much as I’d only put him in a lightly engineered exploration Cobra.
Back in a Cobra and pretty much engineered beyond the level it was, also ‘tooled up’ with suits and weapons...though I doubt he’ll need the weapons out in the Black.
I do this far too much with my alts. On this occasion the reasoning was simple - start from scratch and role play my way out of the Bubble and into the life of a self sufficient Scavexplorer.

Horizons is now part of the base game. Pretty sure that Odyssey needs to be bought per commander.
