Engineers Did arsenic drop rates get tweaked, or did arsenic allways drop poorly in the bubble.

Ok this isn't a discussion about finding arsenic but about an observation I have.
Early March 2016 I set off for a 2 month exploration trip, I returned for the engineers.
Note, at that time I had been playing the game for 2 weeks and gotten an asp.
On my trip I found plenty of arsenic, enough that I spend it willy nilly on fsd boosts and srv refuels.
When I came back I still had enough to get some of the upgrades but now I'm out.

I spend about 20 hours looking in the past 5-7 days now,
I've been looking both in Deciat as Eta Draconis, where people say they found some.
And found nada (meaning nothing), no arsenic, plenty of the other stuff.
So rather then me asking where to find some, do people agree that arsenic drop rates are lower then they used to be or was this allways the case in the bubble.

From my experience some high metal content or metal rich planets never spawn Arsenic ever, and some planets will always spawn Arsenic but in small quantities. If you find a planet with arsenic you can go back on another day and still find it there. The way FD have set this up is specific planets will spawn the rarer metals, but you have to find them first.

When scouting for Distant worlds pre 2.1 I always found arsenic more difficult to find than other mats of the same rarity.

I also found polonium much harder to find that yttrium, which is the same rarity.

I've not been looking for either yet post 2.1.

I was hunting for Yttrium on Junga 5 and Polonium at Timbalderis B1 and always found way more Arsenic there. It was roughly 10 Arsenice for 1 Yttrium or Polonium.

Found 2 pieces of Arsenic yesterday at first planet in Shinrarta Dezra (or this system is called)
My first and only Yttrium at the second planet in the Betelgeuze system
but never ever found Polonium .... still searching....
Guess its random like the whole game.

Deciat 4 found 2 Arsenic in an outcrop, but that is the first drop of that I have had on a metallic world.

I think I also got Yttrium there as well, no Polonium though...

For Polonium try NUENETS B2
For Yttrium try NUENETS B2
For Arsenic try SHINTARA DEZHRA A1 and LFT 926 B1

These all were found in the metallic Meteors all over the planet surface.

That's where I found mine. I hope this helps.

trust me, go to ETA DRACONIS A4, arsenic for days there; I had been farming it in shin.dezhra a1 and only got like 2 there, but i have 36 now after eta draconis a4 and i don't even pick it up anymore

I believe Yttrium is a rare and Polonium is a very rare. Also Arsenic is not a Common, a lot of people think it is, I've seen that being spread around the forums. It actually is a standard (between common and rare).

This for sure, while I have seen a slight drop off in terms of overall drop rates, It can still be found a plenty if you know where to look!

I did some prospecting long ago, and even now these planets still produce all the elements you need.

Heilelang 2 (0.3729, -75.6871) - 50% Yttrium, 50% Cadmium
Heilelang 3 (8.5923, 15.2435) - 30% Polonium (only on meteorites), 70% Niobium
Shinrarta Dezhra 1 (28.9126, -36.7043) - 50% Arsenic, 45% Niobium and 5% Polonium)

Ok so I've been at Eta Draconis A4 for 2 days finding 5 pieces of arsenic in a bout 6 hours, any spot on the planet specifically to look on A4.
As for the Shinrartra that's looked of for me.

Edges of big craters, especially ones with ejecta, can even find it along the ejecta path.

I found a load of arsenic by shooting at the barnacles, pre 2.1.

If they are still out there somewhere than that might work.
