General / Off-Topic Did I imagine a Steve and Ed caption thread?

Am I going mad, or was this a thing? I'm sure earlier today T.j created a caption thread (Steve holding a notepad behind a distraught-looking Ed). I'm also sure I posted to it.

But now I can't find it! It doesn't appear in my posting history, nor in the list of threads created by T.j. And forums searches (don't know why I bother with those) can't find it.

The only thing I can think is that it has been deleted for some reason - maybe infringement of Ed's beard copyright ;)

Did any one else see it or was it just in my head? [wacko]

Regardless, I think this is definitely T.j's fault ;)

Some of my favourite threads have been the caption ones. Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing :S

BTW, is it wrong to get a little thrill from having someone from FD post in your thread? ;)

Honestly, half the fun was extracted on the first comment when he asked it be kept clean...that just ruined the half dozen captions that entered the dungeon of my brain. Although in hindsight, if Id gotten them out, Id probably be sharing the naughty step with TJ about now...ah well the day is young ^

I can understand his request to keep things clean - I'd probably do the same. But he didn't say anything that a dozen other caption threads didn't say, and some of those got quite racy. Which makes me think it was something about the image itself - maybe not clearing it with FD first - though others have used screenshots in posts before. Maybe mods are expected to adhere to a higher set of standards. Even T.j ;)

Everyone is equal, but some are more equal than others ^

I seen it as a bit of harmless fun...but thats subjective I suppose. Done now, cant be undone move on and onto the next victim...sorry I meant fellow forumite ^
