Did I miss something? Heat increase?

I took out my Vette to a HazRes last night and I'm getting constant heat warnings all of a sudden.
I changed nothing to the ship's loadout and I never have heat problems in my Vette, untill now that is.
Have there been made changes to weapon engineering or special effects or something else?
I'm running two huge multicannons, one large cannon and the rest turret beams all efficient.

This is not a complaint, I'm just wondering.

I've noticed this on all my ships when fuel scooping. Not noticed it in combat, but haven't done any lengthy combat sessions.

I was always able to keep the temperature below 70% when scooping, but now, regardless of what I do both speed wise and proximity to the star the temperature climbs quickly to the 70% mark and then continues upwards into the 80% range.

It's not a big deal, but as in your case, nothing has changed on my ships, nor the way that I am flying them, just that temperatures now seem to rise quite a bit higher than before the patch.

I hope not - I've invested serious time making cold, stealthy ships.... If this is a thing, it better be a bug and not an intentional change on Frontier's part.

My vette is equipt with three large mulitcannons and for burst all of which are engineered (over charged and oversized). No issue with heat.

My Vette is engineered for combat and I used to be able to fire endlessly, my distributor is able to keep up with two pips and my temp never went above 65 or 70 percent.
Now my temps keep on rising well above 100 percent.
It's the same Vette as before the update.
It's no big deal, temp settles quite rapidly when I stop firing but I never had this problem.

Something obviously changed, I can't think of any other reason.

Could this be linked to the module priority bug? Could it be that the latest update contained unannounced balancing that FD thought would balance PvP?
Surely not, I mean the canopy integrity drop was a mistake, right? One thing I am sure of is this. The latest update is a complete and utter mess.

As the community, we need an open statement from the Devs, telling us how they managed to release this disaster.

"how they managed to release this disaster"

What Haz Res was it?

In Lacelle something something, quite close to Soll. One ring on the 3rd planet has two HazRes and one other Res.
I always go there for some bountyhunting and material gathering.
I used to go to Wise 1506 but after the beyond update the HazRes sites were gone.

That's two people who're complaining about heat in the 'vette.

I need to take mine out for a spin to see what they're like.
One of them has a G5 Overcharged PP.

You realy think they'll comment on this?
They knew about at least a number of bugs prior to release, some are impossible to miss, but decided to release anyway.
I don't think they'll ever publish an open statement and admit they thought it to be a good idea to release now, use us as testers and fix it later.

Well silence isn't doing them any good, that's for sure. I know 'Will' has posted of known issues and that a fix might come out next week, but more and more bugs are crawling out of the woodwork. Heck even Microsoft have explained why the May 2019 Windows 10 update is being tested to death, to avoid the October 2018 fiasco. Playing the three monkeys is NEVER good business practice.

This is an epic game, but the future will not be good, if consumer complaints are met with a wall of silence.

Patch Notes say:

Damage Balancing

  • Fixed issue that caused more heat damage to be applied to vessels when in a multiplayer session

I read that as saying:
So now more heat damage is also applied to vessels not in a multiplayer session. Makes it equal under all conditions.

To be blunt, you only need to watch any livestream to see exactly why this sort of stuff happens.

Seems like the FDev team can barely play, or understand, their own game. :(
