Did somebody else run into that feeding problem? Bowls under roofs?

I'm currently playing the northamerica career... I kind of finished it, but I make it pretty now 😊 while doing that, I putted nicer buildings in the habitats and added nice pagolas to keep the food save from the rain. After I did that for 4 habitats, I went into a strange issue:

The Keepers are filling up the main food bowls I putted under the roofs... the animals are able to walk there too and even sleep and play under the roofs there (so there is enough space) but they don't eat when the bowl is under a roof (selfmade roofs and roofs from the building menu)... it was like "yes I see there is food, but I prefer to die a little bit around!" 🙈...

They began to starve fast (my bears, my ungulates, my peacocks and my turtles where starving while there were standing right next to a fine filled bowl! I even moved them very close to it, changed were the bowl is standing under the roof and reloaded the gamefile... but they still didn't eat (lost one peacock on it until I kind of understood/had one more idea).

I moved the filled bowls out of the roofed pagolas and buildings, back into the rain, just to see if there would still be the problem (because before making everything nicer I hadn't issues like that in full game)... and suddenly all animals ran to the bowls to began to eat!

Nice I found what didn't work here, but it's very strange too when you like to give your animals roofs over the bowls, so the food is kept nice and dry.

I don't know if we're not supposed to do that, or if the problem just happens on the northamerica map in career?

Again there was enough space in width and length so my animals could reach the bowl, the keepers filled it up too, but they weren't eating... the food began to smell too because they weren't eating one little piece of it, which could cause diseases too.
Is this mainly a problem right now overall or just at that specific map?

I'm sure I could do this in beta and the animals could eat under a roof, safe from the weather... 🤷‍♀️ I'm not sure, but was it a bug that suddenly occured, or is there really a problem so we just can't do it right now?
