Did someone break the SRV scanner while I was away?

I'm trying to prospect for Tellurium which is a nice way to idle away a few mins bouncing over the landscape, except...

(almost) Everything vanishes from the SRV scanner when you get close! I can even sit in front of the Anaconda and the scanner is not picking it up! You can kind of home in using the sound, but the scanner no longer shows the item you're homing in on.

Who broke it? I dunno, can't be away for a while and someone comes along and breaks stuff....

Yes, the SRV scanner is currently broken and I can confirm firsthand that it's much improved in the beta. It's almost too easy to find stuff.

However, it's entirely usable in the current game. When you lose a signal, do a complete circle, listening for the strongest signal and follow it. Sometimes, I'll do a outwards spiral search pattern, listening and watching my radar for a white marker. If I can't find it quickly, I just move on. I travel following the same compass heading (so I don't waste time re-searching the same area) and I travel as fast as possible, so I can find lots of stuff quickly. This technique has worked well for me, in spite of the scanner issues.
