Hey CMDRs. If you missed out docking at "Lantern Light" before the Corsair update rolled out I have something for you to check out.
Quick recap:
I realy love the colonisation update. In preparation for it I started to create my own scenario, in which I created an organisation around the neutron highway, called "Neutron Highway Initiative".
As an explorer by heart I traveled out into the dark and mapped out a stable route to colonia by using my Krait Phantom (max jump: 70ly) and the ingame bookmark system.
I started to look near the bubble and found PSR J1856-3754. An amazing system with two neutron stars, two L-Type and one O-Type stars in it. After the colonisation updated dropped I tested it before hand and checked out some installations and stations. As soon as I heard about some cmdrs venturing out of the human bubble I started to be a part of it. For two weeks playing elite almost everyday for what it felt like 24 hours a day I colonised system after system after system. Alway in Open-Play. There I found some cmdrs heading to a similiar direction like me. So I reached out to them and formed coalitions. We helped each other reaching our goals.
There I found CMDR. Idalia of the Ironheart Corporation player-group and had help from CMDR. Pandemonium and CMDR. Sunny Ilwitcht. We got together and hauled materials over and over again. To honor them I got started to work on some installations in the system and named them after these heros! So you could say that colonisation worked pretty damn good if you are in open. I had the best open play experience since for ever in elite.
Now to the part why you came here:
After we reached PSR J1856-3754 and finished the mainport we waited to the next server tick. The coriolis two-truss came online so I hoped online and checked it out. IT GOT LANTERN LIGHT'D! ^^
So the corilois mainport is orbiting the main neutron star in the system exactly like CMDR Lavelains Orbis, one time every second.... at that time he got the most attention and even got a bobblehead to buy in the store. I thought it would be fair to name my mainport after him.
After the Corsair-Update hit the servers his station got fixed while mine is still rotating like crazy. If you missed out on trying to dock, you still can!
