Just throwing my 2 cents into the ring and letting people with similar thoughts have another space. For various reasons, I didn't get the first game because I avoided "creativity" sims and was looking more for "tycoon" sims. That being said, after some hesitation, I bought this game and the crisis management is pretty engaging and I found myself playing for quite a few hours. Dinos look great and its pretty fun running this through geforce now. My hesitation stemmed mainly from a fear that the management wouldn't be deep. I'd rather spend hours trying to make my park successful and having to dig into deep mechanics to do so rather than spending hours placing individual trees. I'm almost through the campaign but this has been a great buy so far. Replayability is yet to be determined but to be honest, as a kid I didn't care about "replayability" because I made my own goals and methods of fun. It seems easy to do that here too.
Some constructive feedback for them would be that we need placeable decorations like benches, tables, lights, trash cans etc. Frontier confirmed that they're in via :
"We've seen many of you asking if there are decorations coming in Jurassic World Evolution 2. Short answer: Yes! Tables and chairs, lights, banners and planters can all be added to your parks. You won't be able to build elaborate blueprints and designs like in Planet Zoo or Planet Coaster, but we know decorations are important to the community and you will be able to add a little extra flair to your parks."
