Differences in CC when you release them to the wild

Hi,

I noticed this before but when you release an animal to the wild, directly from your zoo, you gain a lot more CC when you send them to the market and then release them.

Is this supposed to be like that? I can understand a small difference but this is quite a lot (compared to the total value)

I don't know about anyone else but I much prefer releasing my animals and it definitely makes getting CC's harder - this along with the game speed being so quick and animal turnover being high has made it basically impossible to have any A-tier animals (at least for me) in franchise mode

I changed my first post, i didn't meant to sell them..

I'm just focusing on the difference between 2 methods of releasing to the wild

I have the same issue. I think the difference is due to the animals change their levels. In your pics, the tortoise is silver in your zoo, but bronze when moved to trading center. I have experienced this many times in my franchise animals.

Can't believe I didn't notice that.. :D I started noticing it with other animals with no level (bronze/silver/gold), guess i picked the right example...
That explains a lot, going to report this an issue...

@KaoRu, year 61 with 4,5 million and 39k CC...
Started out with tortoises and the croc and slowly expanded in the beginning..
Bought a couple of high appeal animals with poor stats for few CC, just to attract the crowds.. Also don't have too many animals in your exhibits all the time, food is really expensive (didn't sell animals for a year and paid +400k $ in food)
I don't have prettiest zoo and very basic looking but very effectively planned out (most of it).
Also exhibit spiders are very profitable in the beginning - they get annoying when you progress..

Don't worry, you can make a lot from releasing animals.

Just remember that they need high fertility and a young age.
25-1000 CC is what I usually get. (1000 for a young critically endangered)

Euhm, @OP, those 2 tortoises are different animals.
The first one is silver star and the second one is bronze. That's why there is a difference in CC.
It's simply a name confusion.

Ohh yeeahhh that could be it. Why one is gold and the other silver I mean. Your animals can end up with the same names without you even noticing. Make sure you don't have two Malika's. 🤣

Also the CC difference is right I think. I checked with my Peafowl and I got less if I traded and more if I released it. But stats also play a part in how MUCH you get either way. :)

The OP was trying to say that the amount of cc for release specifically would change depending on if you released to the wild from the trade center or released to the wild from the habitat.
