Different class weapons should look different.

The different class of weapons should have a different look to them so players can see at once what they are facing. I could be just a color swap or a slightly different effect. For example class 1 beams and class 3 beams should not look the same but the larger class should be a different color and a graphically larger beam.

I suggested using colours, but even fairly subtle hues would work. Lasers shifting towards blue as their power increases, and so forth.
 
My Class 2 gimballed beam lasers look thicker than my class 1 gimballed beam lasers.

even so, on the receiving end, class 2 weapons look the same as class 1's when you're being shot. kinetic weapons could be a bit more challenging to do this with, however. would tracers work in space?

you can watch your kinetic weapons to the target already in game so i don't see why the round cant change as well.

but in my opinion when i'm shooting and more so when getting shot at i don't really care what it looks like just that i can confirm that i am hitting my mark or not geting shot by who ever is shooting me
