Different cockpits?

So, I was wondering - do different ships have different cockpits or are they all the same? I only seem to remember having seen the same ship/cockpit layout. Or is it an Escape Capsule thing?

:S

So far the only ship we've been allowed to pilot is the Sidewinder. Different ships will have different cockpits.

Cockpits are different, we have only flown the Sidewinder so far. There's a peek of the Cobra cockpit around, it has 2 seats. Also the bigger ships have a bridge.

we've had a glimpse of the anaconda cockpit as well with a concept art in some video. cockpits will be as varied as the ships themselves.

Yep!

As for the Cobra MkIII. If the OP doesn't have access to the private backers forum then he just have to wait to see it then... :p

If he has access he can look at it here:

Thing is, when does a cockpit become a bridge? That Anaconda concept is surely a bridge, yes?

Walking around is planned to come after the initial release.
My guess / hope is that they'll add walking around your ship first. Then spacewalks, repairs, boarding, stations, planetary landings and finally walking on planets. Else we'll wait a long while :)

In 'ethics and credits' (mission to protect/attack miners) its possible to fly up and hver directly outside an Anaconda's bridge and you can look right in there.
Its pretty funny the game is that detailed.

Its a place holder at the moment and there are no people walking around. It'll be interesting when all the detail is added in !

what i'm wondering is will the ship internal/extenal sounds be different as well? my guess would be yes, but has it been said?

Does anyone know what the deal is with your crew? Will they be responsive to orders, and react to emergency scenarios like take up gunnery positions? How interactive will the crew be?
