Time being an issue, a suggestion would be to reuse existing content, specifically altering the appearance. In this case, the suggestion would be to have the existing rocks and trees in different colors or shades, and maybe, if it could be done, sizes.

The same thing could be done with the terrain tools and the water tool. Different shades of color for the terrain tools and different shades of blue for water.
