after finding it infuriating finding improvised components (flying around civil unrest systems for 3 hours... leading to "smash the crap out of the mouse" and making load frustrated gestures as not a SINGLE high-grade USS spawns!!!) i had an idea....
Let us employee a member of our crew as a scout/surveyor, they would take abc amount of time to find XYZ material/data based on their skill set. they could be hired on a per-job basis such as, find me some damn improvised components!! As a cmdr, we'll get an amount of XYz based on the skill level. the price of each "usage" goes up but so does the yield of found materials/data.
Good idea?
PS. i still haven't found Improvised Components!! I've quit playing for tonight as I've become angry and aggressive "especially" towards my mouse and that, is NOT what a game should do. please take that into consideration Frontier Development. Give us the tools and 'means', we'll do the rest
