When Leonard Nimoy died there were calls for the new Space Station being built to be named in his honour. When Sir Terry Pratchett died we had the same requests. While I am not averse to this, I believe I have a more acceptable solution, which can be used for other notable persons as well (with the relevant adaptions). It is this;
On Sir Terry Pratchetts' birthday, (and mentioned on Galnet, so that people who want to see it can get there), flying high over the Sol system equatorial plane, there is a Discworld in all of its' glory. It would be indestructible, but as accurate as possible (sorry, Devs, for the work this would put you to), so that you might well see an elephant move its' leg out of the way of a passing sun! as well as watch the RimFall. In the case of Leonard Nimoy, it would be a giant replica of the original Enterprise from the series (assuming FD can get the relevant permissions). If there is a planet Vulcan in ED it might pass through THAT solar system.
