Different ways to manage breeding (Birth control)

Alongside separating males and females to keep them from breeding, I think that we should have the option to fund birth control for animals just like in real zoos. They don't always have the animals divided because they are unable to get pregnant. (For example, in my local zoo this weekend they told me that the lions, which are all from the same litter, are safe together because the females are on birth control now.)

I think the little medic-slider next to the gender stands for birth control.

That's not confirmed yet, but it is the only logical thing I came up with, that you would put right there.

Yea honestly it does. Maybe it means the animal is infertile (female) or castrated (male). Can't wait to know more on it.
Since in the picture the animal is a male i'm just assuming or it could just mean fertile or infertile all around, depending on which way the slider is slid (left or right). XD

I don't think it's irreversible. Just slide it on/off if you want the animal to reproduce.

Small side note:
castrating: remove the testicle (male) or ovaries (female)
sterilizing: just cut the connecting tube (male/female)
infertile: every beeing that can't reproduce

castrating or sterilizing is irreversible.
My guess is hormonal birth control (capsule symbol) for males and femals.
But yeah, it's a game, so they will probably not go into to mutch detail/realism. xD
