What i mean is its 1000 years in the future and we still use only Laser, Projectile or Missle?? Lets break these down a bit shall we, Lasers what only 3 types pulse or burst of beam? what about different types of lasers, you know electron, plasma, particle projection lasers.oh wait one more thing about lasers they cut metal hull plateing like butter, hence laser cnc machining. Projectiles , hhhmmm wait a min, the same weapons we use now and there weaker! auto cannon come on has anyone ever seen an A10 warthog or a cobra attack helicopter, what about the chain weapons used on the apache longbow helo. they rip a tank up fast. and a cannon like what 105 millimeter would blow a hole through the hull of a ship. And finally missles, Dumbfire or Seeker, ok fire pop there goes a missle well i missed waiting for reload fire again oops missed again. wake up a small helicopter like a cobra can carry 76 missles in 2 pods and it does'nt fire just 1 at a time, it firses alot at a time , as far as dumbfire goes apache can carry 4 pods each with 38 in them and the pods are only like 350 lbs. thats about 158 kilos! and they dont take up much space. A cobra 3 could carry 10-16 pods easy. Finally seekers , yes fire and forget missles so to say. well what about swarm missles that split into separate warheads or heaver missles like amram sidewinders or hellfire missles. we are only talking well improvements and varieties over 1000-1300 years of progress. shouldnt there be more variety? How about tachyon pulse weapons that shoot magnetic spheres of plasma or emp pulse weapons or we could go on. so tell me what you think! I look forward to it.
