Difficulty setting?

I wonder at the start of the game will you be asked to select a difficulty from easy, medium, hard and advanced perhaps as far as I know business Simulator games typically do not have this but will this one? On higher difficulties things that take time will take longer and things that cost money will cost more there will also be stricter penalties. Just a question and idea.

This game will be progression based. Meaning each island will be more challenging and as you go along unlocking things you can go back to past parks and use the new things you have unlocked to improve them.

I'm perfectly okay with no difficulty setting for the base game. I feel like the entire story campaign is well crafted for everyone - to learn things at the beginning and go through challenges along the way.

However, again, another unfounded speculation/idea from me....

If there's gonna be a security DLC, I wish there is a wide array of difficulty settings. Preferably, the highest setting can OVERWHLEM the players with TONS of micro-managements - the more like a Real-Time Strategy management game, the BETTER!! That is part of the essences of Jurassic franchise, right?

I do think my suggestion is relevant especially after the game has been released/played for a while as this is one of the ways to enhance replayability.

Thanks for confirming that Bo.
I guess Isla Sorna will be pretty challenging, not only because it's the fifth island but also because of it's size.

I like the idea of it getting harder and harder. I am sure the first island is crazy easy. I am just hoping on Sorna it isn't going to be natural disaster after natural disaster.
