Newcomer / Intro Difficulty targeting planet in galaxy map

Since the new update, I have difficulties targetting a planet in galaxy map. I select it but when I want to click on plot route icon (or system icon) I loose it.
After a while I manage but it is annoying.

Any tips?

I've also found this following the update. I've found that once you've clicked on the planet, try and scroll to zoom in once this is done you can drift right to log route etc. Currently like you I found when clicking on a planet, I was unable to drift off target to open the route and planet details etc, it would simply disappear. On several attempts, this still happened, until I found scrolling /zooming in to fix it. Hope this helps in any way. Thanks for reading.
