Dilemma time.

I'm thinking of heading off out to the edge.
I have 5 ships at the moment, all with good drives.

Originally, I was thinking the type 6 would be the best all rounder, but now, I'm starting to wonder.
The type 7 is too big and too risky, the hauler is too small.

So, do I pimp up the adder, take my fully pimped cobra, or do I buy something like the clipper?

I have no problem selling any of my ships except my cobra, so I can have a total expense around the 60mill mark.

I've also looked at buying and pimping the python, but by the sounds other people have been making, it is a very expensive ship to run.


Any good ideas?

I would sell everything and take a fully upgraded ASP. It is just an upgraded Cobra anyway

Asp with a Class A FSD has the longest range, from what I hear. Good all rounder ship, too.

Ah, the asp.
Now I had the asp once, but I couldn't stand the engine noise, so I sold it.

But thinking about it, the asp really is the best choice in most respects.

I'm still tempted by the clipper though.....

No worries
To clarify, I wanted a combat build, for trading having around 90 million is enough. Upgrade the FSD, slap cargo racks on and you are good to go.
