Dimery Prospect dock occupied - Auto Dock

I request docking, it's approved, then auto-docking takes over. BUT, there's a ship on the pad, so autodock tries to land me on top of it.. The ship never goes away, so I cannot land.

Yep change mode .... but
when you have a bigger ship
Theres a system to deal with pilots a sleep after auto launch has been cancelled,
Its called ramming them... When the AI is a sleep at the ship controls you can use your shields and ship to hit them...
Once moved enough the AI wakes and resumes control....

It's a bug that's been around in open play for ages. Maybe they can fix it in the next patch. As said, the only way to solve it is to change instance, so quickest is to log into solo play, where it doesn't happen.

Not just open play, it can, and does, happen in any mode.

It has happened to me several times thought maybe it was a graphic issue/ glad to know there is a fix
