ding ding ding sound entering some systems?

Title. Is there any significance to the ding-ding-ding sound, kind of like asian chimes or something like that, when I enter some systems?

Not all, but sometimes I heard that sound effect and wondering if it's just general random ambiance music, or if it meant anything

The Empire has those chimes, which give an impression of the more exotic nature of the place. It's a shame those jingles aren't on the soundtrack; they are some of my favourite parts.

You hear this audio, when you enter your target destination. You won't here it if it's just a part of the route. That's what I've experienced.

I believe the faction specific audio you are all speaking of is referring to the stations and when you open the station menu. These are different based on the controlling faction.

This, you only get it at your destination. The Independent tune is quite nice as well.
