Dino AI Glitched

Ever since coming back to play this game I've noticed the AI is a lot more glitchy now, at least for the carnivores so far. I've noticed times where certain animations play out as if a fast forward button was just hit, and other times where the dino will wander and then stop in its track, just standing there for minutes completely frozen. There are rare moments where it will stay there letting itself starve and dehydrate until it dies. Is this a known glitch for other people? Any way there might be to prevent this from happening? I've seen it happen to my T.Rex, Indominus Rex, and Acro's so far. Very annoying.

It happens to me quite often, I don't know how to prevent it. The only thing I do is use ACU or ranger to shot them, most of the time they began moving after the first shot. If they are still not moving the only thing is tranquilize and move them.

Does frontier at least know about this issue? This happens very frequent for me and is very annoying, not to mention it can get my dinos killed if I'm not watching.

I do recognize this, sometimes the dinosaur A.I. does glitch up.

Like I went to a save file full of dinosaurs, and I got a notification of a homalocephale starving to death. When I went to check on her, she is just standing still and not moving. To fix this I had to go to her and dart her with medicine to spook her. Then after panicking, she went to eat and drink.

I agree that the A.I. does need to be a bit optimized. I did a report on this where carnivores would realign themselves unnecessarily in one spot when hunting specific prey, they just reach a point and turn around to face the same angle they were in. Also, I believe since sandbox on all islands update, I did notice the dinosaurs having sudden bursts of speed in animation for a brief period. I think their A.I. was compressing the animation from point A to point B in a short time that it creates that weird burst of movement from time to time.

I do hope they plan to fix it, it has been a new thing to see in game from time to time.
