Dinosaurs Dino Handlers

Premise
This a variant of having dinosaurs roaming guest areas, with the exception that they are accompanied by a handler, who has them on a leash, feeds and hydrates them.

This could allow for cool animations like people giving them pats and feeding them, giving a genuine close up experience.

I was thinking this might be suitable for most of the small herbivores (the bigger Pachycephalosaurs are probably that little too dangerous).

Positives
Obviously, when outside of their enclosure any needs not met would cause comfort to drop down, I was thinking that this drop in comfort could maybe be slowed by the presence of the handler.

Such a feature would be a good way to boost guest attendance, though it may also be good to boost the fun rating or the dinosaur rating of the park.

Negatives
If their comfort drops to red, then I was thinking that they could break free from the leash and then it would be treated as a normal escape, people panicking and everything, even the handler.

I was also thinking that a comfort penalty (lowering the maximum possible comfort for the dinosaur) could grow with every outing, being an effect that lasts for a time, meaning that you'd have to switch dinosaurs over time, or risk a rampage.

Buildings & Equipment
In the way of equipment, I was thinking a pick-up truck/utility vehicle might be suitable for transporting the dinosaur, being treated as if the dino were tranquilised (stats not moving) when in transport.

In terms of the building, a relatively small building would be appropriate, being able to select the specific dinosaur that is used, with the process occuring when the dinosaur reaches max comfort.

Building Upgrades
Building upgrades would be along the lines of how well they train the dinosaur (effect on attendance, Fun or Dinosaur rating) and desensitising the dinosaur (reducing comfort related effects).

While I like your ideas regarding how it might affect buildings, guests and penalties etc, I believe that's a bit too... far-fetched. I'd prefer the opposite; letting guests enter the paddock (or a special paddock for that purpose) so they can see the dinosaur in its natural habitat, kinda like the petting zoo.

That's completely fair, I was inspired a bit by the walk about dinosaurs at universal studios, rather than anything you'd see in an actual zoo. I'm also trying to appeal to Frontier's chaotic side, with an obvious way that it can go wrong.

Either way, I really like the idea of tactile interaction with the guests.
