DINOSAUR BEHAVIOR +

Forgive me if there is an older thread for this but I would like to discuss how we could make the dinosaurs in game more unique and interesting.

As of now Frontier has done well with adding new behaviors like herding and a "hunt meter" for carnivores but what else could be done and how could they be implemented?

here are a few ideas to start with:

-Dominance displays: We do actually have this but I know a lot of people were upset that certain dinos like trikes don't actually fight for dominance. I think for most cerapsids, pachys and maybe even carnotaurus it would be cool to see two contenders head but each other for dominance.

-Ambushing: It's kind of lame seeing a t-rex casually walk up and snatch up a goat when in the books and even the movies it tends to hide in the trees then run up. Now if this were to be implemented I do not think every carnivore should be an ambush predator and perhaps it would be cool if individual dinos were more prone to ambushing than others (for example one t rex will almost always use ambushing as a means of hunting where as another is more prone to rampaging around ).

-Pursuing: Although this could be seen as a form of stalking, and perhaps there is a better word for this...but pursuing in sense of troodons and dilos following prey that has been envenomed or a large predator separating a member from herd or even chasing it till exhaustion.

-Sentries: in balance with ambushing, herds could have a dino serve as lookout when the herd is sleeping or grazing and make an alert call if something spooks it provoking a stampede or defensive behavior.

-Fortifying: I know there is no proof to this but then there is nothing proving they couldnt, but maybe certain dinos like Triceratops could form defensive circles or alphas could take lead in fending off an attacker.

-pack hunting: this has been brought up so I will not go into this, just adding it to the list. Carnivores already herd together as a group which is a nice start but needs more depth.

-socializing: we already have this but its the same for every dino and they do the same thing every time just standing in a circle which looks unnatural but whatever.

-patrolling: I feel like predators should form some kind of "territory" that they patrol, for various reasons they could occasionally wander out of the territory (lack of prey, water, pursuit of something, chased out) and this would be really awesome for free range parks where people are trying to recreate Site B. Territorial fights could be purely display or end up in death making it more interesting to watch how are dinos stake out the park.

I agree on everything. This should be in Suggestions; I was planning to both make a review of the current AI state and re-editing my AI post, would you mind if I add some of this to it?

Or other basic things like:

Why is the Allosaurus a solo-carnivore? As i know, and after a short google search the Allosaurus was a herd-hunting Dino. I think you should increase the social limit from 1 to 3 like the ceratosaurus.

And as Idea:
Implement male and female dinos. They can not get children, but if in a cage are female = male of one species, they get a security-bonus. Even sometimes Rex lived together to make kids.

And make a cooldown of ramping dinos because of the number of social interactions. For example if i transport several Veloceraptors to a cage and they arrive in a period of 30-60sec, the frist raptor will get aggressive. Maybe give us a 30sec window because of the transportationtimes. Or maybe as option: Dinos forget social problems if they wake up. For example if i have an outbreak because of this and i bring them all back. Until the socialvalue increases over the limit, they run aggrassive again and break out. So the other dinos have an social problem to, because the outbreaked dino does not increase their social limit. Its a vicious circle (in german a circle that repeat constantly).
