Dinosaurs General Gameplay Dinosaur Mechanics needed to the Game

PACK HUNTING
A mechanic we were all waiting for since the game was launched this mechanic needs to be addressed because the smaller carnivorous dinosaurs such as velociraptor proceratosaurus deinonychus troodon and herrerasaurus and dilophosaurus smaller carnivores don't seem to work together to take down a single animal unfortunately because the fact that they don't Pack Hunt I am forced to only put one or two individuals into a single environment with herbivores because they wipe out an entire ecosystem of dinosaurs if I put six or more individuals in one pack, pack hunting is crucial to this game and I hope Frontier decide to add this mechanic into the game due to the fact that it would bring more life to the game and realism unfortunately to me I can't recreate the ecosystems I want from the prehistoric past in this game without worrying about a mass extinction. This is something I wish Frontier would have the small carnivorous dinosaurs do......
LARGE PREY
1. 1 Velociraptor spots Edmontosaurus herd and alerts the others with its iconic call from the movies
2. 1 Velociraptor distracts Edmontosaurus
3. Her sisters launch an attack from the nearby trees
4. Each dinosaur gets a turn swiping with their sickle claws
5. When Edmontosaurus is weak one velociraptor lunges behind Edmontosaurus his neck and does the finishing blow and bites the throat.

SMALL PREY
1. Velociraptor kills by stalking struthiomimus

2. Velociraptor feeds from the carcass
3. The pack shows dominance who eats first
4. The pack begins to eat the same struthiomimus carcass that one of their members killed
I I hope Frontier see this because it would bring more life to the small carnivores this is basically an example of what I want to see the small carnivores achieve in their pack hunting skills as well as their social skills in the game.

INTERSPECIES HERDING
This is something I think is long overdue to be added to the game because a lot of people are losing their patience with his game by not having inter-species herding, yes we do have herding dinosaurs but it feels unnatural aesthetic if one species only herds with their own kindit would be so awesome if we had more life into this game if Brachiosaurus stegosaurus parasaurolophus gallimimus dryosaurus travel together in order to avoid being eaten by predators that would be great. I mean it would bring more life to the game for sure because well this game needs more mechanics that don't make the dinosaurs seem robotic, an inter species herding would be the best part of the game in my opinion. I mean we've seen hurting in Jurassic Park the Lost World Jurassic Park and Jurassic Park 3 and Jurassic World.

GIANT CARNIVORE GANGS
This this is a mechanic I would definitely pay for to see T-Rex and other large carnivorous dinosaurs that have a paleontological evidence of hunting in huge gangs in order to take down prey, T-Rex and GIGANOTASAURUS are well known to have hunted large sauropods and hadrosaurs in the means of pack hunting.another mechanic that's well needed in Jurassic world Evolution to see two T-Rexes take down a single Edmontosaurus would be a fantastic and realistic think to see in the game to bring more life as well.
1. Two Tyrannosaurus spot one Edmontosaurus alone
2. They hide in a brush trees nearby
3. When it Edmontosaurus is on alert both of them charge and take down Edmontosaurus together
4. Once they killed Edmontosaurus they both feast from the same carcass

This this is basically my list on what could happen with more creativity in using the current mechanics to suit the realism into the game I feel like this mechanic is heavily needed giant carnivore gangs are sorely needed to take down large sauropods as well. Giganotosaurus from South America was well known for hunting large sauropods like argentinosaurus in gangs in order to cut flesh off in the name of the family genus shark-tooth lizards and we're very efficient with their blade like teeth stripping flesh off of sauropods.

1. 2 giganotosaurus spot one Brachiosaurus
2. They approached Brachiosaurus from behind
3. They both bite flesh off of Brachiosaurus without killing her
4. They continue to scrape flesh off with their teeth until Brachiosaurus dies of blood loss after both gigas have had their fill of flesh.

Note: A simple process of mechanic that could benefit the player watching a realistic dinosaur hunt and large carnivores who are well-known at hunting sauropods such as giganotosaurus, Cacharadontosaurus, Acrocanthosaurus could only take down one sauropod if they work as a team instead of working by themselves. I'm tired of seeing them taking down small prey when they've been known in paleontology to have hunted larger prey such a Sauropods as a team.

Socialization and Behavior
Socialization is a bit off in this game I feel like there could be more to this mechanic for all the dinosaurs for example the Pachycephalosaurus instead of butting heads out of overpopulation and trying to kill each other they could also be trying to play fight instead of fighting to the death or the other Pachycephalosaursalready in the game there's so iconic I'm just surprised that they're not butting heads for sport or playing. Also there should be one small struthiomimus or dryosaurus looking while the others graze on the ground while the watcher looks out for predators. Edmontosaurus and other hadrosaurs should be also having a single watcher well the herd Grazes is Around them. Socialization needs a lot of work because it just feels like watching struthiomimus socializing isn't very interesting anymore they don't even interact or show any interest in mechanics that show them having unique personalities.
1. Pachycephalosaurus should be play fighting displaying what their domes skulls for
2. There should be a single hadrosaur or small dinosaur watching out for predators while herd grazes
3. Herbivores don't always have to lay on the ground in order to sleep they can also just lay under the shade of the largest tree possible to cool off
4.Small dinosaurs play fighting and chasing around each other
5. Small dinosaurs rolling on their backs showing that they're having a fun time rolling on the ground.
6. Sauropods grazing off trees, doesn't make sense that Brachiosaurus or camarasaurus or any of the other large sauropods don't graze.

HERBIVORE DINOSAUR HERDING DEFENSE
For for some reason whenever there's a large herd CARNIVORES PRETTY MUCH SCARE THE LIVING DAYLIGHTS OF MANY DINOSAURS INCLUDING TRICERATOPS. FOR EXAMPLE: Triceratops is a legendary ceratopsid however I feel like this dinosaur could have a little bit more Life by joining together with others of its species and forming a circle in order to fend off a Tyrannosaurus Rex and other large predators which would be more realistic then running away from T-Rex. The hadrosaurs are a primary target for carnivores so my suggestion for this is hadrosaurus could form a circle and make loud noises to ward off large carnivores like T-Rex or metriacanthosaurus since real animals don't like loud noises why not right? for the smaller dinosaurs I would like to see dryosaurus fleeing towards the Brachiosaurus herds for safety From large carnivores like ceratosaurus.
1. Triceratops spots Tyrannosaurus and warns The herd
2. The Triceratops for forms a circle to avoid getting killed by the T-Rex
3. The Triceratops herdmakes loud noises or to also fling their horns at the T-Rex warning the T-Rex not to get any closer
4. T-Rex stares at the herd and moves on in the herd successfully drives off the T-Rex
When herbivores like Triceratops there needs to be more animal-like approaches to this dinosaur especially when it comes to behaviorand a realistic approach would be a Triceratops herd for me a circle to fend off predators. It's the same with all the other suggestions I displayed here to give it life once again.

My only disagreement is the carnivore sociability. I think all the medium carnivores should live 1 to 3 (Spinoraptor is the exception with 2 to 4) while all the large ones should only be 1 & 2, the exceptions being the solitary T-Rex and Indos. We do know T-Rex was cannibalistic because of its own tooth marks on its own bones. Herrerasaurus should have its social count shrink by 1, making it 1 to 4. The other small carnivores obviously remain more social. I do think hunting in duos, trios, or maybe even quartets is a great idea thanks to Wu’s modifications, but I’m just very skeptical about carnosaur and tyrannosaur packs. Sure, we do find multiple skeletons in the same place, but they’re just cemeteries. When we wanna know how the people in cemeteries are connected, we use genetic analysis and more importantly historical documentation, something we can’t do for dinosaurs.

(Some things I do want to point out here.)

If you would like to see some advanced animated movements and decision choices as you said so many above, then you must need script animation sequences in order for them to work properly. Most 3D games of this type of build need these in order to play out some of the most advanced movements that real-time sequences can't, in order to showcase some of the best animated models by every bone in their computer animated skeletons, something Jurassic World Evolution, a modern generation type non-indie game, aims for based on my observations. It isn't going to be as 100% life-like-realism as like what you would see in cinematics or what not, as I know you want them to be based on what you said above, but it's the best a modern generation video game of this kind of build can do. Even Planet Zoo does this.

If you want non-lethal large carnivores to attack giant herbivores that currently live peacefully along side each other, you need to think about how this can be balanced out for everyone who plays this game and whom ever may house both types together. A change like this is a potential save game affecting factor that will change so much for every person in the world who plays this game. You've got to make this a fair enough change that anyone can deal with as no problem. Let's look at Update 1.8: It introduced a new Wetland need mechanic for the spinosaurids, and affected everyone's saves who did not house these dinosuars with enough water in their enclosures. The resolve? Just add more water in their homes, and you are perfectly okay, that's it. It was even warned by the developers who revealed this new save changer before Update 1.8 was released.

T.Rex in-game is a loner by default, I don't think they will make it more social loving even further with social behaviors, even with the social genes from the Dr. WU DLC expansion pack.

Dinosaurs can't feed from trees placed by the "Forest" landscaping tool because the trees are not solid intractable objects. The only ways to solve this problem are to either have them perform a browsing animation when within the forest ground radius, just like how the Indominus rex's camo gene actives when it's in that radius, or have them browsing from the "Scenery" trees, because those trees are solid objects to every single entity in-game.

(FYI, this looks more like a wishlist thread, something this forum usually tries to avoid.)

If you'd like, however, I recommend you checking out a handful of my earlier concept threads and comments I tried to post before and during the middle of the time span between the release of Update 1.8 and the potential reveal and release dates of the next major free update just so the developers can have enough time to decide, plan, and/or build upon whatever should they wish, regarding dinosaur AI, behavior, and variations. Some of these are even related to what you stated above, but with a more technical view.

all good points but I'm reacting because of a certain YouTuber who pretty much give out his review today and well he did point out the flaws in the game and it kind of made me think a little bit more on what more could be done to this game 1.8 was a good step forward but it's still feels like it's missing something here's a video on that review by Gamer empire.
