I hope that this can be finally put to rest that Frontier did listen and made it so when Carnivores eat you can see some chunks of food in their mouth( I think even some blood) Hopefully people stop complaining about it, or that they are not listening.

At the very least, we'll get it with one of the carnivore feeder types.
But yes, it does spread hopes that eating a carcass will show the meat the dinos eat, and the build we watched simply didn't have that active. With the meat being shown, there's no reason for it not to show them eating meat from a carcass.

While it was nice getting to see the Dilo eating meat and seeing a chunk of red wet looking meat in it's mouth. The one issue I have is it looked too uniform, like a raw burger patty or a hockey puck made of meat. I would have liked to see a ragged piece. Also it wasn't a live kill so we haven't see any blood or anything like that. But it's promising.

I'm just glad we don't have to feed them live food.
Yes we do. The GMO goats. I hope there are cows and pigs as well, but pls...no more GMO!
They still need live food to fill their need to hunt. But I don't know how that works since the goat just randomly runs around the enclosures and when the Dinosaur does get close it just stands there.
Also I would suspect the Herbivores or at least some of them would have the need to forage. Like people but special food and food dispensers in cages with certain parrots so they can do what they would do in the wild while eating and looking for food.
Yeah I really hope they have fixed that and have a real hunting animation were the predator chases the prey for a little while (goat or smaller dinosaurs) and then attacks it.
Anims can be implemented, for sure. The devs just have to be motivated enough.
That would be, but I don;t think it will be in the game sadly.
