Dirac Enterprise - fact or fiction

So I am a noob, and decided to try to jump far enough to sell my valuable cartography (that is 2000cr+ lol as that is a lot for me) and combine it with selling my cargo and ended up one jump too short of my intended destination... but I found a list showing that the inhabitants of Dirac Enterprise also wanted my cargo, so as I had no choice I decided to rest there for the night.

Good plan, maybe. I decided to find the entrance to the great big box before requesting docking and flew around for 15 minutes with no luck. Requested docking thinking that might help me find it... no luck. Second time I requested docking it changed to a 'landing pad' which was the entire box and still no clues as to where to get in.

Long story... after an hour I was out of fuel trying to enter the place by force getting stuck behind some flaps and crashing to my death... ending up safely in my brand new starter ship somewhere else.

Does this place actually have an entrance? I saw two people chatting mentioning impossible, but surely... How can I find a way in.

It is now personal ;) I will go back but need a hint on how to break in lol

Weird story. Was it an outpost, cube or ring station?
Outposts often have the landing pad just on the opposite side from your approach, hiding behind some boxes.

It sound like your describing an 'outpost' they don't have entrances, and you land on the outside, there are various landing pads on two or maybe 3 of the faces of the platform

It was a giant 'cube'. I have landed on a number of outposts where you have a few landing pads on the outside. This was probably the biggest thing I have seen so far - Coriolis station looking up the descriptions.

When you select the cube so it appears on the target hologram it shows small arrowheads on the sides towards the direction where to entrance is. The stations are always positioned so that the airdock is towards the planet they are orbiting so you should approach them from that side in supercruise for ease of entry.

Also, when viewed from the front (looking at the letterbox / mailslot) Coriolis stations always rotate anti-clockwise. If you're looking at one rotating clockwise, you're looking at the back ;)

Thank you. I will go back and try that tonight. I did think I had flown around full circle on a number of angles but I will try to go back from the planet side and try from there.
