Engineers Dirty Drive Tuning and Supercruise turn rates.

I have dirty drive tuning 3 on my Anaconda. It's now noticeably much zippier turning in normal space at 0 throttle than in supercruise at 0 throttle.

Is that expected behaviour or a bug?

Expected, unfortunately. The class and grade of thrusters doesn't make any difference either. I tested it in the beta and got down to 11 seconds for a 360 degree pitch in normal space vs 30s in supercruise.

Supercruise maneuverability and normal space maneuverability are two completely unrelated things.
And as far as i know we have no ways of changing supercruise maneuverability, it is just ship characteristic.

I am not even sure if supercruise maneuverability is all the same for every ship. (except the cheating NPC ;) )

It is a pity, I didn't like exploring in the Conda for two reasons, the view, and the sluggish maneuvering around notables.

I was surprised there wasn't a FSD that gave more maneuverability in supercruise personally, it seemed like the sort of thing people would want to mod.

Maybe in future, there is quite a list of things I want to see engineers mod I'm hoping FD at least do some of them.

Yeah combined with the FSDI mods you would think pirates would want that.

IMHO that would be a good alternative to FSD range, the rest are kind of meh since overcharged power plants are a thing.
