Disable double image on monitor - help

i was tinkering with my set-up today, and somehow managed to get a double image on my single monitor i cannot find how to disable the second image. Any suggestions. ~If I continue with the log in I end up with two views of ED on my monitor.

I am using the latest nvidia driver, and have elite on my pc, steam, and steam vr. I don't have a vr headset yet. I don't play ED using my steam account.

I could not take any screen shots, because I can't change the full screen option in the ED graphics settings.

Apologies, but I had to run out this morning, and will not be back at my desktop till Sunday PM UK time.

Sounds a bit like you enabled '3D' in Elite Dangerous. Go into the game's options->graphics and make sure the 3D option is off

OK ZeeWolf. Now back at my PC, and guess what. Somehow I must have changed my 3D settings on GeForce performance, and ED changed my 3D settings in graphics to "Side by Side".

I changed the 3D option to "off", just as you suspected, and now working perfectly. Thanks ZeeWolf. Have some +1rep.
