Disable hyperthreading, Disable core parking for + performance?! How and does it work?

I have heard that to disable hyperthreading and core parking helps with Judder in ED.

1 - Is this true? Does it help?

2 - How on EARTH do those of us that don't even KNOW that these 2 things ARE....go about turning off these mysterious options?!

Thanks!

Generally google, not being a smart ass. I had to disable core parking for some other game and thats where I went to, to figure out how.

I did disable core parking a while ago so i am not sure if it has any benefit.
Disabling hyperthreading and/or EIST (speedstep) does definatly NOT benefit. You will loose potential additional performance in other games and waste a lot of power.
At least with my system it does not affect judder in the slightest.

Disabling hyperthreading made the game run worse for me. It caused me to get judder in supercruise and the galaxy map ran at about 10 fps. With it on it runs smooth everywhere but I have to run low detail settings with shadows off. That's with a 780Ti and i7 4770.

I disabled core parking with msi afterburner (cant remember why I did that moeha)
hyperthreading I wouldn't advice that. ED uses that I believe/saw during alpha testing.
