Disable idle hand animation option is in beta.

Sometimes I actually think my (real) hand is moving lol.

I almost at the point where my real hands started to mimic the in game hands.

It's almost creepy how often I get the motions correctly...

The roll left and right when i move joystick are opposite for me.

Same.

But apparently it's a bigger issue with most sticks not even being recognised at all.
For some re-installing beta has helped but not all.

I see there's an option to show the yaw hand animation now? Cool! (or at least until I get pedals soon)

see the first bit of this video:

He will stop wiggling his arms! Woohoo!

Now if instead of using twist joysticks like a pleb he'll use the rudders I'll be in heaven.

This beta is shapping up to be so cool!

I am sort of glad the random movements are gone. Freaks me a bit when I see this strange random movement and it's not replicated by my own hand.

Yaw movement will be cool to see, but would be good to have the option of seeing it as foot movement instead.

Isn't there also an option to dim some of the controls?

My main problem is that I mapped my movements differently than what the hand does - I use the rudder on the throttle to rotate and the yaw on the stick to, well, yaw (instead of rotate).

Hopefully they'll set things up to recognize what you're actually doing with your stick instead of the default flight settings.

Have you reached for an in game keyboard (tot he left on some ships) when you wanted to type something yet?

Z...

wanted to on many an occasion.

But mostly learned that lesson from hotdogs Horshoes and Handgrenades when I tried to lean on a virtual table top and fell flat on my face.

The second time.
