Ok, so, lately, I've been working out of an outpost, where a bunch of anarchists keep giving me this type of mission.
I'm supposed to fly to a nearby system, land at some outpost down the well, laser their generator to death, and return to collect a nice 600k.
I've not yet built up any type of influence, but I see the same type of mission with a nice reward of 1.3mil.
The thing is, these missions are done in 10 minutes, offer no real danger, and pay nicely. I feel as I'm almost doing something wrong, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
There are thing I can scan in there, but I don't know what that's good for.
There's one public access point, that when scanned, initiates something not really explained. I then have 2 minutes to do something else- usually scan another beacon-thing inside the outpost itself. (if I scan the not-public access point first, the alarm gets tripped, but I get no extra info either way).
The scanning part is totally optional.
Am I missing something? Why isn't everyone talking about these types of missions? The pay's good, especially for new players, as it only requires an srv..
