disappearing money . 500k gone

I was selling data. had a balance of 460k or so. sold 30 to 40 k of data. balance goes to zero. log out . log back in. balance is 429k.

I think ill lay off a while until this gets fixed

Yes I have had some of the same problems myself. I hope we can get some kind of help because some of those losses where many hours involved playing. Bryan

Apparently this issue is being looked into, and things should be resolved soon (according to an official notice I read on one of the numerous Facebook Elite groups)

Try to sign out and back it, sometimes it helps. At least helped for me when my credits became 0 for some reason :)

I once opened the Galaxy Map and on the top left panel where the Universal Cartographics icon is it shows you your credits. I never really paid attention to this before (why is it there anyway?) but it had shown something to the nature of 9,999,999,999. I noticed it just before I closed the map. Curiously I reopened the galaxy map but it had corrected itself to my proper balance.

...as it has obviously become clear, something is seriously wrong with the banking systems in the year 3300!

It would be nice if they would just communicate with us. Let us know they are working on issues and maybe give us an approximate date they will be doing a update to at least fix these numerous bugs and problems. But I guess that is too much to ask. I am scared to play most of the time because some bug may screw up a weeks worth of time. I hope they compensate players with problems like this because that is too much time to loose. This is not beta. If you loose 500,000cr then they need to deposit it in your account. I have been ticketing like crazy. I have killed 2 anacondas at over 100 - 150 thousand credits each and could never claim the bounties. They still owe me that. Sucks even more to be one of these guys that loose millions from crazy bugs. I want my money it took too much time and effort to get it! lol. seriously I want it blood. LOL seriously, isn't it, isn't it.....standard.

I'm one of those guys who has lost millions due to known bugs. I've always chalked it up to being part of Elite:Dangerous.

I've lost credits selling cargo, selling ships, handing in missions, trading, bounty-hunting, client crash insurance bills.... did I miss any? Only time I've ever died was because my ship got stuck on a lightpost next to my dock and warped me thru the dock hull. Full load too.

Last Friday, I lost 60 cans of gold and 24 cans of Palladium for missions, went and got more... server db crapped again and got disconnected. Came back to 24 cans of mineral extractors and all my credits gone, not to mention the missions were all bugged.

It never recovered after all the fraudulent PPI refund claims encouraged by the PPI refund companies in the early 21st century.
