Disappearing rift

Hello fellow Explorers,

I was busy searching for Arsenic (without much success) when I literally jumped over this interesting cliff:

The coordinations are -14,2453° 161,7787° Carnsan System Planet 2
Sadly I did not jump into rift because I had some valuable cargo I wanted to store on my ship first. So when I came back, the rift was...gone!:O

How can a rift suddenly disappear? Have I witnessed a conspiracy?
I looked at another picture I made of the rift and then I realised it: This planetoid is completely empty on the inside!

Ha! Maybe, just maybe!

I would love to think something such as this was implemented, but not yet enabled, and that a temporary bug accidentally set some plate-shifting algorithm in motion.

Yet another piece of evidence supporting the theory that the galaxy is actually some kind of simulation.

I've flown through areas of space where entire regions of stars a laid out in almost perfect squares. I've approached planets too quickly and, in the blink of an eye, could swear that I was actually on the inside of the planet, surrounded by an immense spherical grid. Another blink of the eye and I'm back in orbit wondering if it was just my imagination.

Not to mention that history itself feels like it is being rewritten around me! I know you won't believe this but I remember a history where the Alliance had actually conspired to deliver an antidote for the Mycoid virus to the Thargoids! Then I wake up one day and *POOF* it never happened!

Now this! Geological features on a planet that simply appear to reset themselves to a new state?

Jasmina Halsey said she saw the 'True Architects of Creation' face-to-face. What if she had been 'pulled' out of the simulation and granted an audience with the very computer programmers that created this simulation?

And who in all creation is John Graham?
