Discard items

Just a minor suggestion: Over time some items are beginning to pile up, and it's difficult to get rid of unused stuff. While apparel and weapons can be dismantled (great feature btw), I'm missing an option to just discard stacks of useless stuff, i.e. rotten food or just unwanted items in general.

Would be great if this feature could be added.

To expand on this, it might be a nice feature (and certainly in line with a survival mentality) to provide the option to compost rotten food and use it to fertilize selected crops/fields. Perhaps where you don't have a good selection of proper soil types, you could fertilize said areas for a temporary bonus/boost to crop growth speed/yield, etc.
