Yeah it appears all it does is show people what game your playing on xbox and allow them to join.
I like the feature..
Now you are in control of making groups of friends and see what they are playing and join then if you please.. You can use discord voip, instead of Xboxlive, this way you can have the proximity chat in game enabled while you are also in a party with friends..
And its just a nice gimmick..
And please, I'm saying this as a user not mod, please accept other people's opinions guys.. It's a bit lame, and childish if you are not..

Looking forward to this...another reason to get one of those keyboards that plug into the controller. Or are normal keyboards supported now?
Looks like this feature is out of preview and has been released for everybody now.
