Newcomer / Intro Discover Scanner gone AWOL or SNAFU?

I have spent the last few months exploring the outer reaches of the Galaxy and making constant use of the FSS and occasionally the DS with outstanding results.
Since returning to the Bubble after a couple weeks resting from the game( I am getting a trifle old for such excitement) I have lost the DS from the HUD.
DS is listed in Modules, but appears to be non Active when highliting.
Have I or my ship been irradiated from too much time out there or have I a funda(mental) flaw in my brain cell (or settings)

Do you have it attached to a fire group?

Is the module just turned off for some reason?

Mm, doesn’t look like the DSS can even be turned off/on in Coriolis, it doesn’t use any power...

Great suggestions Commanders.
I was correct in my assumption of fundamental disorder of the brain cell.
Without your prompting I would not have scrolled down in my firegroups to find the DS!
Whoever thought that scrolling down without a scroll bar would be simple for a septuagenarian!
