Discovered new signal source ... see nothing

On many occations, when flying around to a mission location a bit further off the main star (>100k), I constantly get messages that new signal sources have been discovered.
But I don't see any circle popping up and nothing on the navigation tab either.
Sometimes, If I wait a few moments, these signals do appear on the nav tab but mostly they don't.
Is there any logic to this?

Look on left panel and lock the signal there, maybe it's below or behind you so you don't see it even if it's there, if you don't see it there, come to a stop 30Km/s and wait a moment, it might be a server issue, if it continues report it
