...i might land here, have a whisky and watch that ringed purple beast rise above the horizon...

I found this rare planet roughly 5.000 ly from the bubble in the Outer Orion Spur.

Only a handful of LS away. The view must be incredible.
The inner moon sits directly at the edge of the ring. That was indeed breathtaking. I really hope, we can land on atmospheric worlds one day.

It was my first discovery of an ELW moon too and i am out exploring since original release... That´s why i found it worthy of being posted here in the first place

Man, might not be the same place (probably even isn't) but distance, area and system map matches exactly to a system I just recently went through and got VERY excited about that ELW only to see... someone else mapped it already!!!! Damn!

I did map it, it is a screen from the moment i found it. I cashed in a few days ago and got both tags for first discovered and first mapped

Very cool.
The surprise was to see, where it was actually located, as the new system does not come up with an instant system overview like the old one...
Frontier really kept the feeling of opening the system map for the first time
