You should know by now that they don't commit to anything until they're ready. It could just as easily be released this Thursday as it could on September 30th, or canceled at any moment (plans change). If it's not coming out in September, they'll let you know by Oct 15th.

Now do you have any info regarding some of the long standing issues f. ex. stellar lighting being white for all but two star-classes or news on a new anti-aliasing implementation, would be great to have some clarification on when these fixes / improvements could come to the game.

I would be extremely surprised if the limited time they've referred to only applies to a period of 2 weeks or less. It's more than likely that access to email will be sufficient as well as I would expect it to be something where we just raise a support ticket or similar.
I mean they could do something awkward and annoying, but since the likely reason for transferring is to buy Odyssey, it seems to make sense for them to make transfers as easy as possible for as many players as possible within whatever timeframe they want to burden their support team with this.
A week that begins on a Tuesday is always good!
