If anyone has the manufacturer information on discovery scanners I would really like to get in touch with them in regards to a malfunctioning unit I purchased 1 week ago. If I'm going to have these problems, I'm going to at least try to role play them in to make them less frustrating. Anyways heads up to any explorers out there after about 800 LY out I was having trouble with double scan on planets that has now turned to quadruple scans (if I'm lucky) and more annoyingly having to double scan whole systems. This particular incident happened after system scanning 6 times, receiving confirmation each time there were 6 bodies discovered but not revealing locations on system map. I know double scan is already well documented but this is a new error message to my knowledge I thought I would pass along. Corruption notification in top right info panel, it did show larger print across my screen but I did not get to the F10 key fast enough.

IIRC, this happened in one of the Betas. It's unusual now - I detail surface scanned planets today and had no problems.

Its a common bug that I tend to get if my internet is dodgy or if I discover the star by being close to it as the disco scanner is charging.
