Haven't heard this anywhere else, but I flew into a new system today - started fuel scooping and charging my ADS only to suddenly be overheating... bad... 130% bad.
come to find out it's my discovery scanner, not the star I was near. I flew out into deep space, until my heat was down to ~30%, still started overheating badly before I could finish honking. Am I missing something? How is this usable? I didn't know there was anything updated about the discovery scanners aside from the whole planetary maps part of it. Could someone drop some enlightenment on me?

I'm an idiot who got drunk and didn't realize he bound his shield cells to the same button and fire group as his discovery scanner. Sorry forum. I'm an idiot, but relieved I can still use my scanner.
