How come there is no wave form pattern for stations and outposts on the spectrum scanner

Good question.

You would expect some sort of radiation from them to show up. I guess because they are identified (known to be in the systems) and eliminated from the scanner detection in order to allow for a discrete scan. Like a radio which tunes out discrete noise so you can hear the important stuff.

yeah it should pickup there mass or something if there are died ones out there how would we find them

The FSS filters them out.
