Parks Disneyland Resort's Splash Mountain & Critter Country

I figured I'd post this project to the Planet Coaster forums now incase anyone is interested. I started this project to practice with the game's features, especially the terraforming tools and scenery buildings. I'm quite happy with the way it's turned out so far, even with the limited capability of the Log Flume. Im not sure how much of the interior scenes I will be doing but I did want to get the exteriors done. Im about 80% complete. Let me know what you all think.

With that being said, I present to you Splash Mountain and Critter Country from the Disneyland Resort.

Have a Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah Day!

This is mind blowing! The details and the atmosphere is spot on! Incredible work, andreizsmart. This right here is just inspiring. I can't even recreate a coaster, and you practically recreated an entire area within one of most beloved parks in the world. I can't wait to see what you do next... definitely going to be following this thread. Are you planning on recreating the County Bear Jamboree?

Oh My God!! Amazing detail!! Absolutely brilliant! Great work, and please please please let me know when this is released, would love to see it in game. 5 stars great job![up][up][up] Also are you considering a recreation of the entire park?

Thanks for all the wonderful comments! I'll respond to them later but I wanted to show where I'm at before heading to bed.
Details update! And back of house work begins. Getting closer and closer!

Layout overview. I know the back of the ride isnt exactly right. I wasnt able to get some of the tighter curves in since the Log Flume track sections are so long. This was the closest I could get.

So inspiring. One, if not THE BEST Disney recreations I've seen thus far. Your attention to detail is mesmerizing. Still a bit envious, but in a good way. Are you only working on the Critter Country area? Or are you also going to work on areas like Frontierland, Adventureland and Fantasyland as well? Either way, whichever direction you're going with, it's going to be phenomenal. And I really, really... really hope once it's done you upload it to Steam, because I absolutely want to experience this next level of Planet Coaster Imagineering for myself.

Thank you for the wonderful comment! I dont yet to be honest. Critter Country alone has taken a lot longer than I had expected to create and I really want to finish this project so I can start a park of my own. So im sure if i'll be doing any other lands yet but who knows! I may get motivated to play around with another one of the lands, possibly even Haunted Mansion and Pirates ;) And yes, expect a steam upload! Im hoping to release the park file so that everyone can admire the little details that make Splash Mountain one of my all time favorite attractions.

Are you going to add the Hungry Bear restaurant?
;) At first I wasn't going to but since that area of the map looks so empty now, I might as well make Hungry Bear.

Im learning so much from this recreation both about the game and Disneyland's design techniques themselves. Its really interesting to see how the imagineers made use of the space for such a ride and how they controlled guests sightlines. Its a painstaking process to go through and make sure that the guests, when on ride and walking around the land, dont see back of house and other lands. Walls of trees carefully placed, rockwork propped to just the right height, a pathways carefully shifting left and right; all these little techniques and more to control what the guests see. I hope that once I release this file, that people will focus more on the guests perspective than how flushed out the ride is as I made sure to focus on all those little details that makes Disney stand out on top. Oh, and the start of those ❤︎❤︎❤︎❤︎ interiors...

Overview of Critter Country minus Country Bear Restaurant. That will probably one of the last things I build.
