Efforts to deter the Thargoid incursion into Kamadhenu were successful. Hundreds of commanders and at least half a dozen factions lent their aid to the people of Kamadhenu to avert disaster. The Chapterhouse Lantern features stories about their efforts. Unfortunately, the Thargoids have not left the Emperor's dominion. The Aegis Vanguard has deployed to Nu-1 Columbae, despite there being no sightings of Thargoid marauders in the region. Reports have arrived describing a Thargoid incursion into HIP 30045, a system with six million inhabitants and only one starport. The fourth planet is an ammonia world.

A transport ship conveying the imprisoned Riri McAlister vanished in transit to an advanced medical facility, leaving only a debris field behind. The confessed Nexus of the League of Reparation is officially listed as missing, though the crew of the transport is presumed dead. Nothing will stop the rush of rumours around the infamous terrorist organisation. In somewhat startling news from the heart of the Federation, a mining robot inexplicably activated and used mining lasers to escape its shipping container, digging deep under the surface. MacArthur Mining Ltd suspect the rogue DG090 model was incorrectly shutdown and erroneously awakened. Combined with worrying developments with artificial intelligence, the Bulwark Project, and the reported theft of AI-powered cyber-artwork two months ago, the tinfoil collective will never rest until that doggo is found.
With an impressive showing last cycle, the Emperor's forces have another opportunity to impress. With three combined Imperial weaponised expansions, the crime sweep operations underway in Decheng could deliver a devastating blow to the Shadow President's galactic influence. Expect a large Federal presence through the wee hours of the morning, and be sure to form a wing for extra safety in operations. Federal operatives and their terrorist allies appear to be most active between 2200-0800 Galaxy Standard Time.
Loyal factions are encouraged to keep in touch with their merit mentors to help foster more activity and community volunteers from the Discord Server. Establishing a garrison in Decheng is within reach. Pledges to the Emperor's Shield of Justice can leverage actions against the corrupt system authority to their favour. Imperial forces only lack encouragement and communication. Keep those merit vouchers safe, and use them effectively. The nearest garrisons for collecting merits can be found in Koine, LTT 2667, Malaikudi, Binjia, and Biliri.
With the Thargoid threat in HIP 30045, wings could swap between objectives throughout the cycle with a short delay at a nearby garrison to change loadouts.
