Powerplay Faction: Arissa Lavigny-Duval Dispatch from the Kamadhenu Herald - Cycle 27

Dispatch from the Kamadhenu Herald

3 December 3301

Once again the weekly deliveries of garrison supplies exceeded all expectations, and those systems experiencing displeasure in the Emperor are once again voicing their support in GalNet's Galactic Powers weekly poll. President Hudson's security operations in HIP 44811 were successfully thwarted, and Gold Life LTD can resume its business. Nevertheless, the Federal President tops this week's poll as the most influential power in the galaxy.

Elsewhere across the milky way, the People's Princess, Senator Torval, and Li Rong-Yui all lost support of multiple systems, which are in a state of turmoil. In the cases of Princess Duval and Senator Torval, the only systems in protest are the sparsely populated border systems that are nothing more than a drain on their political machine. Pranav Antal is also experiencing some minor turbulence in the Ewah system.

Due to the impressive delivery of forty-six systems' full allotment of garrison supplies, and a remarkable lessening of criminal activity, the Emperor's Kamadhenu-based supporters have an ample amount of command capital with which to prepare recalcitrant systems for crime sweeps.

Overview.png

Unfortunately, according to Research, there are barely anymore systems worth preparing for the Emperor's justice. Nearly every system out there will simply not be worth the effort of her political will. That said, a few options were found, including the continuation of Operation Hades.

As for these so-called 'weaponized expansions,' President Hudson and Emperor Lavigny-Duval are not the only powers utilizing them. Shadow President Winters is pushing her liberal corporate agenda in Amuzgo. Success here would contest multiple systems currently exploited by Cerni and CD-49 3617. With a coriolus station in system, this expansion will be difficult to oppose. Additionally, Winters is also pushing her agenda in Kherthaje and HIP 47328.

All suggested priorities can be found on the cycle priorities sheet

For those who wish for detailed breakdowns, they shall follow in separate posts:

Preparation Tutorial

Currently recommended systems are Mbutsi, Gitse, Hrun, Neali, and Sawali.

Opposition Tutorial

Targets in order of priority: Amuzgo, Kherthaje, HIP 47328.

Fortification Tutorial

Once again, it is recommended to stick to the cycle priorities sheet for the most efficient usage of your time and tonnage.

Undermining Tutorial

Undermining priorities will be addressed either on the priority sheet or later in this post. The three oppositions from Winters should take priority over undermining this week.

Good luck and godspeed, commanders.

Preparation Overview

Preparation targets have been carefully considered this week. We have a lot of command capital available to us, so it is important that it is spent wisely.

  • We want to press on with the Operation Hades strategy. This cycle we want to attack on two fronts. Both Mbutsi and Gitse have been selected for this.

  • Our other preparation targets are profitable medium pad outposts. Although these systems only have medium pads available to service our ships, whispers on the horizon indicate that these systems will soon have large landing pads available on the surface of planets. This makes now a perfect opportunity to extend our reach to these previously hard to reach systems.

  • We have chosen not to go try and push Uhlan (overlaps Neali) or HIP 43688 (overlaps Hrun) even though they provide slightly higher CC than the systems they overlap. This is because these systems do not have planetary bases available to them. Consequently, fortification efforts will be significantly more difficult to achieve with these systems, should the need arise.
